2. Blackberry Torch 9800 (Vodafone)

With a full QWERTY keyboard and touch screen display, the BlackBerry Torch is the latest BlackBerry handset and sports the new BlackBerry 6 operating system. A 5-megapixel camera, GPS and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) also make for a fully-connected device. The deal offers up 900 mins of talk, shed-load of texts and 500MB internet on a 18-month contract for ?40 a month.

3. Apple iPhone 4 16GB (T-Mobile)

The follow-up to the 3GS has seen its fair share of critics, but it remains a superb smartphone, with a decent camera and all the apps you could possibly want. T-Mobile is offering up the smartphone - with an initial ?29 handset charge - for ?30 a month over 24 months, which will give you 900 minutes, a shed load of texts and 500MB internet.

4. Motorola Flipout (Orange)

Sporting Android 2.1 and the company's Motoblur interface, the phone gets interchangeable covers and a "fun" interface along with a QWERTY keyboard that swivels out from beneath a touchscreen. The deal will give you 500 mins, a tonne of texts and 500MB internet on a 24-month contract at ?27.50 per month.

5. Samsung Galaxy S (3 Mobile)

The latest Android flagship from Samsung is the Galaxy S. It packs a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen (bigger and better than the Desire), Android 2.1 with Samsung's TouchWiz 3.0 interface over the top, a 5-megapixel camera and a 1GHz processor. ?38 a month over 24 months will get you 900 mins, 5000 texts and 1GB internet use.
